Loan Processor Entry Level

Loan Processors are the facilitators responsible for moving loans through the origination process at Western Capital. They are the star coordinators, promoting transparency and constant communication with all parties inside and outside the organization. As a Loan Processor, you will manage the overall client experience by helping them understand loan status at any given time during the process and setting expectations for what is coming up next. We are looking for Loan Processors who take accountability and ownership of client files, and who want to make a difference in the client outcomes. We need problem solvers who are perceptive, proactive and keen on providing excellent customer service who take pride in anticipating client needs, solving problems and preparing all parties to minimize surprise throughout the loan process. You will be the overall caretaker of the client file, relying on internal and external vendor relationships to help meet client and organizational goals.

Responsibilities will include:

• Daily communication with clients to manage expectations and move files in process from file opening to closing.
• Procuring, ordering and gathering loan requirements to fulfill lender stipulations for approval.
• Developing and presenting options to customers.
• Submitting requested loan documentation to lenders for underwriting and approval.
• Coordinating and maintaining constant communication with all parties, such as title company, insurance agents, processing, sales, underwriting teams and internal stakeholders.
• Building relationships with internal and external partners to help facilitate processing.
• Reporting loan portfolio progress to leadership.
• Continuously working with leadership and peers to promote learning and best practice dissemination.

• High level of accountability and ownership for outcomes.
• Analytical skills; Excel and Microsoft word experience a plus.
• Coordination skills; project coordination skills a plus.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Part-time option available!

This is an hourly paid position, reporting to Coon Rapids office in Minnesota. Training is provided. Western Capital is a Commercial Real Estate Loan Broker who partners with several Private and Hard Money lenders nation-wide to offer loans for investment pursuits that have been turned down by traditional lenders.

Loan Specialist Entry Level

Loan Specialists are at the heart of what we do at Western Capital. They are the initial touchpoint and face of the organization to our customers and stakeholders. They listen and understand customer needs, then present the best of the loan origination experience and services we offer. We are looking for Loan Specialists who love to help people. We want individuals who care about the goals and outcomes that our clients are looking to achieve in their investment pursuits and ultimately the impact our services will make in their lives. We need problem solvers who are analytical and comfortable with numbers. We want Loan Specialists who are not afraid to get into the details and help shape solutions that meet customer goals

Responsibilities will include:

• Speaking with customers who call in to discuss and document investment priorities and goals.
• Taking loan applications and reviewing customer credit worthiness.
• Developing and presenting options to customers.
• Submitting loan scenarios and packages to possible lenders for approval.
• Communicating with all parties, such as title company, processing, sales and underwriting teams, from loan submission to loan closing, to ensure a smooth experience for borrowers.
• Reporting loan portfolio progress to leadership.
• Continuously working with leadership and peers to promote learning and best practice dissemination.

This is a part time, hourly paid position, initially at 20 hours a week. This may change depending on candidate performance and the growing needs of the organization. The candidate will report to the Coon Rapids office in Minnesota.
